The time has now come for all of us to have a good clear out in our attic, our sheds or even our garage -etc.You’ll be surprised what you can do with any old bits of furniture that you have forgotten about or are collecting dust.You may even have some furniture that needs some attention or an upgrade, well this is the time to do whatever is necessary, I find this philosophy is good for the soul.If you have found any items that you don’t know what to do with, just give us a call and we will give you a solution.We are here to help in any way we can, so get clearing!!
Just got in a lovely sewing machine base in cast iron which will make a lovely garden ornament. I will be ordering a piece of marble or granite to make a work top. I haven’t decided the colour yet, but I am sure that maybe someone would like to put their own stamp on it.If you are interested in this item and would like to choose your own colour scheme just call us or email. We would be only too happy to help you.
Also coming in are two late Victorian low Edwardian chairs / They are going to be stripped and reupholstered / Cloth material to be chosen.

Things that are coming in to our workshop
I am waiting to pick up a few lovely old George III oak long case clocks. I don’t know what condition they are in, but as I have just sold one, this time around I will refurbish them in different colours. Also in our workshop we have very unusual items which originate from India. For more information on these items call us or email us. We also have a superb quality wooden Torchère Statue stand plus a late 1930s small Ottoman which will be refurbished in a beautiful blue material. The next thing in is a Beautiful Victorian Solid oak twin pedestal roll top desk late 1900s-20th century. This will be a lovely piece to work on.

Retro furniture is referred to as culturally outdated or an aged style which would have once been ‘on-trend or’ in fashion’ and has since become the norm once again.It generally implies a vintage of at least fifteen or twenty years.For example ,furniture from the 1980s or 1990s could be retro.Vintage furniture is furniture 30 to 100 years old and refers to furniture that best represents the prevalent style of a period.Being old will not make it vintage, even though most people use the term old and vintage interchangeably.
Vintage furniture is extremely popular as it gives you the chance to decorate in your own unique style and it’s less expensive that buying new furniture of the same quality. It is also one of the most eco friendly ways of furnishing your home.
